The Esme halo engagement ring frames a claw-set lab-grown alexandrite within a full round halo of pavé-set diamonds, carried on a split shank set with accent diamonds along both strands. Just before the setting the band divides into two slim, diamond-set strands that rejoin at the base of the halo, adding movement and dimension beneath the centre stone while the halo and accent-diamond shank keep one continuous line of brilliance around the finger.
Esme — rooted in the French for ‘esteemed’ — suits a ring built to be admired from every angle. The split shank adds structure and light-catching detail without competing with the halo centrepiece, and the accent diamonds along both strands echo the halo’s sparkle down the finger. Designed in our Perth studio and hand-finished before setting, it reads as refined and considered rather than ornate.
This piece is set with a lab-grown alexandrite, which shifts from teal to grey-green in daylight to a purplish-pink or mauve under incandescent light, with a hardness of 8.5 on the Mohs scale. IGI certified (GIA certification available on some stones).
