The Elin - Halo Engagement Ring — Lab-Grown Diamond, 1ct

The Elin halo engagement ring frames a claw-set lab-grown diamond within a full round halo of pavé-set diamonds, carried on a slender 1.6 mm band set with diamonds along both shoulders. Four fine claws hold the centre stone raised and open, so light enters from the sides as well as the top, while the halo and diamond-set shank draw one continuous line of brilliance around the finger.

Elin — a name long associated with light — suits a design built around it. The raised claw setting, the close-set halo and the pavé shoulders all work to move light through the ring rather than around it, and the halo lends the centre stone noticeably more presence on the hand than its carat weight alone would suggest. Designed in our Perth studio and hand-finished before setting, it reads as classic from across the room and detailed up close.

This piece is set with a lab-grown diamond — chemically and optically identical to a mined diamond, with the same 10-Mohs hardness — and IGI certified (GIA certification available on some stones).
